Today I marathoned all four Indy movies. In my 31 years on this earth I’d never actually seen the completely uncut version of Temple of Doom. Inorite! Well today I watched it in all it’s creepy glory. My 8 year old self would probably have found the uncut sacrifice scene pants-soilingly scary. 30-and-three-quarters year old me thought it was cool. Y’know, as kids I think we actually believed you could tear someone’s heart out like that, so we never play-acted it for shits and giggles. Unlike my nephew, who does it and thinks it’s hilarious (to be fair, it is pretty funny when he does it :p). He’s never seen the movie though. He got it off Family Guy.

And now I am working on a Willie Scott gifset. Because she’s as hilarious as she is annoying, and if you held a gun to my head I’d probably pick her as my favourite of the Indy ladies. I mean Marion’s a boss and all, but Willie just cracks me up. And Elsa is completely forgettable.

So, um. Yeah. I was a massive Indiana Jones fangirl when I was 9. I had the annual and everything. Still got it actually, though it’s on the tatty side now. I’ve got all the comicbooks as well. Been meaning to read them. Gonna start on them as soon as I’ve finished The Bronx Kill and the rest of DMZ.
